This Is Body Grief Launch Week is Officially ON! 🎉

I can’t believe I’m writing this… IT’S BOOK LAUNCH WEEK! This Is Body Grief is officially making its way into the world, and I’m feeling all the emotions—joy, gratitude, disbelief, and a whole lot of excitement.

Last week, I had the most magical pre-order event at Wildcraft in Charleston, SC. We laughed, we cried, we shared our stories, and we held space for each other in the most beautiful way. It was everything I could’ve hoped for and more—a true testament to the power of community and the conversations this book is here to spark.

And the night before that? My mom and I found ourselves sitting alongside absolute icons—Gloria Steinem, Holli, Holliday, Diane Von Furstenberg, Ashley Jackson, Shannon Watts, Rhonda Foxx, Ashanti Gholar, Sunny Hostin, and Ana Navarro—all holding This Is Body Grief in their hands. And then, I had the most beautiful conversation with Sunny Hostin, alongside my dear friend Cassidy Huff. That moment lit a fire in me. Sunny believes in me, so I believe in me.

And now? My new goal is the New York Times Best Seller List.

Here’s the thing: There are so many barriers against disabled authors. Publishing isn’t built for us, but I am so ready to break that mold. And to do that? It takes a village. Let’s get this book in as many hands as possible. Let’s prove that disability stories matter, that we deserve space on bookshelves, bestseller lists, and beyond.
