Sex, Love, Drugs, AND Disabled Twerking

Sean was sitting down on the couch in our old apartment, his face was so serious…I could tell he really meant business because his brows were furrowed and his arms were crossed. That is usually my cue to stop what I am doing and listen, and not laugh, no promises.

So I stopped what I was doing, and I was doing it quite well might I add, and I looked him square in the eyes and said “what’s up?”

Sean: “Now that you are fused and had the low back surgery AND your spinal cord surgery, you CANNOT be twerking anymore!”

I quickly straightened by back from it’s perfect cat/cow position and chimed in to argue.

Sean: “Jayne, I’ve thought a lot about this, I know there are other ways to dance, and I know you’re getting good at it, but it’s just not worth it.”

Yes. This is a real conversation Sean and I had. It was emotionally charged too, because I WAS getting so good! But he had a point…was it worth it?

For years I have asked myself….is twerking worth it? Will twerking ever be worth it??

And then, yesterday it clicked.

I bet there is a way, a SAFE way for disabled people to twerk! This is my time to shine!!! And I am going to figure it out WITH and FOR all of you!

That’s right…I joined this really awesome app called Sunroom, it’s an app created by two women, and the only creators allowed are those that identify as WOMEN or NON-BINARY.

Sunroom is an app for creators to build a community and post content that is UNCENSORED, UNFILTERED, RAW, and SPICY!

For those of you that follow me on Social Media I don’t really talk about “spicy”, behind the scenes, content….for many reasons, one because it’s partly a professional page, two because my Dad follows me (Hi Dad!), and three because some of it would be censored on the app itself.

We already have a small community growing and I am LOVING it!! I post multiple posts daily, short and long form content. Here is what you can expect!
