The AND Initiative

Let’s cut to the chase. the holiday season is overwhelming as fuck. Yes it’s beautiful and fun and full of cheer, but it’s also loud, and bright, and panic inducing and lonely for so many of us. Especially those of us with Body Grief, and those of us living with chronic illness and physical disabilities alike.

I personally love the holidays, but since becoming ill my life has become quite small, and small joys, normalizing the realities behind chronic illness and living AND has been my saving grace.

That is why The AND Initiative, my 501C3 NonProfit, launched a fundraiser on Giving Tuesday this year to help provide inspiration, advocacy, resources, support and gift mobility aids to those living with chronic illness and physical disabilities.

We teamed up with Golden Key Prints, to create this size inclusive comfy tee to raise funds to meet our goal to ship at least one more rollator across country to an applicant in need!

Each Tee is $35 and size inclusive!

As of now The AND Initiative has gifted 5 applicants in need of mobility aids and currently has a waitlist of 5 applicants, and counting. We cannot wait to embark on some new adventures in the new year with some new partnerships and collaborations.

Our Vision: Building a world where people with chronic illness and physical disabilities are empowered to thrive.

Our Purpose: : Allowing space for those living with chronic illness and physical disabilities to live their AND life and thrive!
